BlytheCon 2014 Fabric NOW AVAILABLE
Official BlytheCon fabric is now available at Spoonflower! All of these fun fabrics are designed by Dr.Blythenstein. It takes about 2 weeks for Spoonflower to print and ship the fabric. I would advise venders to order their fabrics as soon as possible. I've taken some pictures to show the detail and color of each print. They were all done on "Basic Combed Cotton". I hope you all will love the designs as much as we do! We're all VERY excited to see what you guys make out of this fabric.
I call these the Rainbow Skittles.
There are 3 sizes available, you can get a sense of scale from the dollar bill in the picture.
Large Dots: each dot is about 2 3/8"or 6cm

2. What do you make for Blythe?
I

4. What are your main influences?
I am inspired by so many things...music, movies, art, food.
5. How did you get started with Blythe dolls?
The
first blythe I saw was a kenner that was in a box full of dolls my
grandmother had me sell for her on ebay. I loved it and wanted to keep
it, but it was worth a lot and she needed the money. In 2003, I
discovered Takara Blythes and bought my first, a Pow Wow Poncho. My
love for Blythe continued to grow from there.
6. Do you collect anything else?
I
love vintage dolls, especially licca and tiny bisques. I also have
various ball joint dolls. I have a lot of yarn, some I confess I may
never knit with...I just love the way it looks on the skein.
7. What's one interesting fact we may not know about you?
As a little girl, I believed my dolls and stuffed animals had feelings...and a part of me still believes.

4)
What are your main influences?
I didn't realize my influences until I kept hearing the same comments over and over again. People would say how Retro, Vintage and Sixties my clothing is. I did a google search of children's clothing from the 1960's and I was like "Dang! They're right!" LOL

5)How did you get started with Blythe dolls?
I bought my first Blythe Millicent (Matte Hollywood) at a toy show in 2001 for $50. Took me years until I realized there was a community!

6)Do you collect anything else?
Fabric. I'm a HUGE fabric collector. Especially Vintage Fabric. I seriously can't get enough of it. Sadly I may end up on Hoarders someday. But I just keep sewing faster, hoping to avoid that!
